George Storey is a licensed professional counselor with several years of experience in social services, nonprofits, and mental health. His experience prior experience includes directing a youth program, counseling substance abusers, assisting foster children in transitioning to adoptive homes, and directing a program to assist students in obtaining their GEDs.
Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, George graduated from Huntsville High School and earned his Bachelor's of Psychology before returning to complete his Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Troy University.
George's counseling approach empowers clients to make the best life choices. He has extensive training in trauma-informed care and experience treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and LGBTQ+ issues.
When not working with clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids, playing guitar, reading, and gaming.
